OUR THOUGHTS


My two daughters loved this game.  They loved getting Barbie all glammed up and ready for her big night.  They loved that you get to fix her hair, nails, make-up, and even her outfit.  Here are a few screen shots of some things you can do.

It is like every little girls dream to style Barbie.  I mean you can even dye her hair.  I have to admit even I had fun with this one. :)

In the Emmy® Award nominated The Smurfs’ Christmas Special, the Smurfs encounter two children, Guinevere and William, who have lost their way in the snowy woods after a mysterious stranger prompts their sleigh to turn over. Before reuniting the kids with their family, the Smurfs invite them to their village to enjoy in their annual Christmas celebration which includes gifts, treats, singing and dancing. Thinking Papa Smurf is Santa Claus and the rest of the Smurfs are his Elves, Guinevere and William blissfully partake in the holiday merry making. The mysterious stranger however, still lurks in the woods in hopes of capturing the kids. He goes so far as enticing the evil Gargamel to help him kidnap the two. Will the Smurfs help Guinevere and William reunite with their family?

In ‘Tis The Season To Be Smurfy, Grandpa Smurf and Sassette visit a village to witness how human beings celebrate the holidays. While at the village, they are touched by the plight of Gustav, a poor, aging toymaker whose wife Elise is hopelessly ill. Determined to help them, Grandpa and Sassette call on their fellow Smurfs to bring some Christmas cheer into the old couple’s lives. Overnight, they lavishly decorate Gustav and Elise’s home with a Christmas tree, gifts and treats. The authorities however, accuse the poor couple of having pick-pocketed a villager in order to afford their extravagant feast. Will the Smurfs come to their rescue before the sheriff arrests Gustav on Christmas day?

My two daughters have become Smurf crazy since the Smurfs have been reintroduced to another generation. So of course I love to show them the originals when I can and they absolutely loved them.  This dvd is great for odl and new Smurf fans and is perfect for the Smurf collector.  It is also perfect for the upcoming Holiday season and will quickly become a must have for Holiday dvd collections.  The Smurfs Holiday dvd is available where dvds are sold and online at Amazon.com for $9.99 right now.

dENIZEN JEANS review

Blue jeans are an essential piece of clothing in my family.  The only problem with that is my whole family is picky about their jeans and how they need to fit.  My fiancée only wears tow brands and I have a unique figure which makes it harder to find jeans for myself.  Of course my kids are no different so when I was lucky enough to try out a new line of blue jeans called dENIZEN made by Levi's and sold exclusively at Target, I decided to let my oldest daughter review them.  My main reason for letting her get the free jeans is cause she had the least and was starting school this year for the first time.  Also she is the biggest fashion diva in our house!!!!

Above are her pair of dENIZEN jeans which have quickly become her favorite.  I have to say they fit her great and she loves them and they are super comfortable to her.  I wanted to get a pick of her in them but never got the chance.  I literally have to pry them from her so I can get them washed.  I will definitely be heading to Target to get her more for Christmas along with the rest of the family.

MY THOUGHTS


First I have to say I absolutely love this line from Mega Bloks featuring "Everyday Heroes".  I think it is great that they are encouraging kids to recognize the men and women who help our families every day.  The series not only features construction but also Police and Firefighters.  I was lucky enough to get to review the Construction Mission set which is perfect for my nephew who is a huge fan of dozers and such.  This set comes with two different vehicles and workers which is perfect if my daughters happen to be over to play with him or if he is simply playing by himself.  This is guaranteed hours of fun and even better it helps him use his imagination every step of the way.

These sets would be great for an "Everyday Heroes" kid or if you are trying to show kids the true meaning of hero.  Also they are great to help increase imagination and creativity.  You can also sign up to become a part of the Mega Bloks Family Club online here.  They have had coupons in the past you could print for their products and keep you up to date on their products.  You can purchase the Blok Squad sets where toys are sold and online at retailers like Amazon.com for $13.10.  Definitely a great holiday gift for the upcoming season.

MY THOUGHTS


Okay I remember getting Moon Dough for my son when it first came out ages ago it seems.  I was not a huge fan of it then, my son made a huge mess with it in our house.  I decided to try it agan with my daughters mainly because I heard they had improved the dough and made it less messy.  I have to admit there was less mess this time.  I also really liked the push & pop tools.  They made it easier for my kids to use.  And by kids I mean all three of them were making breakfast.  Now of course my daughters had more fun than my son but he still had a good time.  It is definitely a fun toy to keep the kids entertained on a rainy day or even outside.  I still laid down a plastic play mate on the table just to help with clean up .  I have to say the best thing bout Moon Dough is that it does not dry out like Play-Doh.

MY THOUGHTS


"Modern Family"  has quickly became one of my favorite shows to watch.  I find myself laughing so hard at times and also being able to relate to all three families.  I was not a fan from the beginning, mainly because I kept forgetting to watch it but after the first episode I saw I was hooked.  The great thing about the show is that I love to watch the episodes over and over especially for  a quick laugh.  If you have never seen the show then you are missing comedic genius in action.


Season 2 is available now where Dvd sets are sold and online at Amazon.com for $ 29.99.  It would make a great Christmas gift for anyone who loves the show or loves a good laugh.

MY THOUGHTS

My son has been a huge Danny Phantom since he was a little and it was regular on the Nick line up.  So he was super excited to be able to watch them whenever he wanted to.  My daughters also love the show especially Samantha.  This cartoon is definitely for girls and boys although boys will like it more.  

The dvd is already n sale at most retailers who sell dvds and is also available online at Amazon.com for $20.69.  So this would be really great as a Halloween gift since there are tons of ghosts in it.  Also perfect for a Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.
