There is nothing more classic in cartoons than Peanuts.  I was ecstatic to get to share a childhood favorite of mine with my kids.  I can remember being excited every holiday cause I knew that Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang would be coming on.  I have since shared this small joy with my kids.  So the whole family was excited to get to watch the latest dvd of the Peanuts gang.

We have watched it more than once and i have t admit I want more Snoopy.  I love that dog!  Lucky for me and other Snoopy lovers, a Peanuts Holiday Collection dvd set will be out soon.   Peanuts Holiday Collection – Is comprised of three of the most popular Peanuts specials including A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. The DVD set features loads of bonus material including three extra episodes.  Peanuts Holiday Collection will be available in stores October 2011.  So both dvds are a must have for every family especially Peanuts fans.

MY THOUGHTS

My nephew and my daughters all love Chuggington.  Usually train shows are more geared to boys but Chuggington gears towards both girls and boys.  My daughters love watching it almost as much as my die hard train fan nephew does.  I like the show cause every episode teaches the kids something they need to learn.  

This dvd is perfect for any Chuggington fan or a die hard train fan.  Also the show and dvd is perfect for boys and girls.  The dvd was just released into stores and is available at most retailers who sell dvds and also online at Amazon.com for $15.49.  So rush out and get a copy just in time for the Holidays.

My two daughters loved this game.  They loved getting Barbie all glammed up and ready for her big night.  They loved that you get to fix her hair, nails, make-up, and even her outfit.  Here are a few screen shots of some things you can do.

It is like every little girls dream to style Barbie.  I mean you can even dye her hair.  I have to admit even I had fun with this one. :)


Now the game is perfect for every little girl and makes for some great mom and daughter time.  The game is also available for Nintendo DS and DSi in case you do not have a Wii.  The game is already out and is available where games are sold and also online at Amazon.com for $29.99.  This would make a great birthday or Holiday gift.  So "jet" on out and get your copy today.

THE SMURFS HOLIDAY CELEBRATION dvd review

In the Emmy® Award nominated The Smurfs’ Christmas Special, the Smurfs encounter two children, Guinevere and William, who have lost their way in the snowy woods after a mysterious stranger prompts their sleigh to turn over. My two daughters have become Smurf crazy since the Smurfs have been reintroduced to another generation. So of course I love to show them the originals when I can and they absolutely loved them.  This dvd is great for odl and new Smurf fans and is perfect for the Smurf collector.  It is also perfect for the upcoming Holiday season and will quickly become a must have for Holiday dvd collections.  The Smurfs Holiday dvd is available where dvds are sold and online at Amazon.com for $9.99 right now.

dENIZEN JEANS review

Blue jeans are an essential piece of clothing in my family.  The only problem with that is my whole family is picky about their jeans and how they need to fit.  My fiancée only wears tow brands and I have a unique figure which makes it harder to find jeans for myself.  Of course my kids are no different so when I was lucky enough to try out a new line of blue jeans called dENIZEN made by Levi's and sold exclusively at Target, I decided to let my oldest daughter review them.  My main reason for letting her get the free jeans is cause she had the least and was starting school this year for the first time.  Also she is the biggest fashion diva in our house!!!!

Above are her pair of dENIZEN jeans which have quickly become her favorite.  I have to say they fit her great and she loves them and they are super comfortable to her.  I wanted to get a pick of her in them but never got the chance.  I literally have to pry them from her so I can get them washed.  I will definitely be heading to Target to get her more for Christmas along with the rest of the family.

MY THOUGHTS


First I have to say I absolutely love this line from Mega Bloks featuring "Everyday Heroes".  I think it is great that they are encouraging kids to recognize the men and women who help our families every day.  The series not only features construction but also Police and Firefighters.  I was lucky enough to get to review the Construction Mission set which is perfect for my nephew who is a huge fan of dozers and such.  This set comes with two different vehicles and workers which is perfect if my daughters happen to be over to play with him or if he is simply playing by himself.  This is guaranteed hours of fun and even better it helps him use his imagination every step of the way.

These sets would be great for an "Everyday Heroes" kid or if you are trying to show kids the true meaning of hero.  Also they are great to help increase imagination and creativity.  You can also sign up to become a part of the Mega Bloks Family Club online here.  They have had coupons in the past you could print for their products and keep you up to date on their products.  You can purchase the Blok Squad sets where toys are sold and online at retailers like Amazon.com for $13.10.  Definitely a great holiday gift for the upcoming season.
