* I received the below product solely for review purposes.  The below mentioned opinions are completely honest and completely my own.

“Leverage” focuses on a team led by former insurance investigator turned thief, Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton). Together, they try to level the playing field for people whose lives have been destroyed by the rich and powerful. In the final season, the team will be forced to face changing personal dynamics as the relationship between Parker (Beth Riesgraf) and Hardison (Aldis Hodge) heats up, and Nate continues to struggle with inner demons. Among their upcoming jobs, they will target a conniving shipping executive (guest star Cary Elwes); weathly scientist; an ex-hockey-player-turned-team-owner (guest star Treat Williams); a corrupt restaurateur; and a corrupt businessman (guest star Matthew Lillard). In addition, the team will once again face their nemesis, insurance-investigator-turned Interpol-agent Jim Sterling (guest star Mark Sheppard).

I hate to admit it, but I did not follow Leverage when it first came on TNT.  Of course when I finally did start watching the show, I fell in love with it.  I loved the whole setup of the show and the characters of course.  So I was upset to hear that the show was ending after 5 seasons, but was really excited when I got the opportunity to review the 5th and final season on dvd.  I have to say they did not disappoint me from the last season.

I love to see what jobs they will do in each episode and how they will all play out.  I have to say that I was really impressed that the writers gave the fans a great series finale, but they also left it where there might be a possibility for future episodes.  ( So fingers crossed that maybe there could be more episodes and / or a movie ).

This dvd set has over 600 minutes of Leverage greatness so you can make it a weekend like I did with a bowl of popcorn.  Also the special features were fun to watch too.

I definitely recommend all Leverage fans grabbing the 5th season dvd set now!  I am also hoping to get the other seasons on dvd. The dvd set will make an awesome Christmas gift for any Leverage fan or you can grab this season and the others to create a new Leverage fan!

The dvd set is available now where dvds are sold nationwide and at online retailers like Amazon for $ 29.96 which is a great price for a tv season!  So be sure to grab a copy today!

  1. We learned about Leverage during season 4 - and then watched season 5 live. We already bought our DVDs of it, but haven't yet watched all of the bonus stuff! Can't wait! We love how EVERY episode has a commentary! You learn some pretty cool things from the commentaries!
