MY THOUGHTS
Lately my fiancee and I have hardly had time to spend together much less watch a movie. SO when we realized we had a couple of hours one night, we decided to watch The Last Ride. Now I have to admit I did not know that the original Hank Williams was a "Bad Boy" like the movie shows. I honestly had him pegged for one of those "Good Ol' Country Boys". Boy was I surprised when I started watching the movie!
The movie basically features the final few days of Hank's life. First I had hoped Hank would sing, but he didn't in the entire movie. Besides that fact, I really liked the movie. The chemistry between Hank and his newly appointed driver, Silas , was the highlight of the movie especially since most was in the car. There were several scenes that made me laugh out loud!
If you are a fan of Hank Williams or know someone who is, then you should definitely grab a copy of this movie. The blu-ray is available where blu-rays are sold at nationwide retailers and also online retailers like Amazon. Right now on Amazon, the blu-ray is $17.99 ( which is a great price for a blu-ray). SO be sure to grab a copy today and enjoy a final ride with Ol' Hank!
