When the Brancusi Circus comes to town, Fred — who has always had dreams about performing under the big top — jumps at the opportunity to visit the show. Upon their arrival, Scooby and the gang learn the circus performers have been terrorized by a werewolf who has not only frightened them but has also stolen jewelry from circus spectators. The circus is blamed for the attacks and faces a potential shutdown. Desperate for help, the circus ringleader turns to Scooby-Doo and his pals. To get close to the action, they all go undercover as circus performers: Fred becoming a trapeze artist, Daphne a daring motorcycle stunt driver and Velma a human cannonball. Will they be ready to face a frightening team of circus-themed werewolves?

As some of you may know by now, I am a huge Scooby-Doo fan and have been for years.  SO are the rest of my family too.  SO of course we were excited to hear about the latest Scooby-Doo movie.  My whole family laughed so hard with this movie especially at Scooby-Doo.  My daughter's favorite part is where Scooby yells out I am already a dog when the werewolves are chasing them trying to "change" them into werewolves.

This movie is completely hilarious and my family was laughing the whole time.  I always love a great movie that my whole family and I can enjoy together and this is definitely one.  So if you are looking for your next Family Movie Night selection, look no further.  Big Top Scooby-Doo is available where dvds are sold and online at for $ 19.29.  So grab a sopy today for movie night or for a gift for Christmas.

I have always been a huge fan of Madagascar especially the Penguins and Marty.  Now this movie has both the Penguins and Marty at their best especially Marty!  I have to say I simply love this movie and so did the rest of my family.  Here is one of my daughter's favorite parts...

I mean how could you not laugh at that!  And luckily that is not the only funny part in the movie.  It is actually full of them and this one has quickly become my favorite of the 3 Madagascar movies I think.  We also really love the addition of the circus animals and even though we did not like the villian we did find some of her scenes really funny.

My family also liked the bonus features especially the deleted scenes.  Now since we opened this dvd we have watched this dvd several times and I am sure we will watch it several more times.  It is a great addition to every family's movie collection and is great for all ages with comedy for everyone!  We also got the blu-ray / dvd combo with the rainbow wig.  My family has not tried out the wig yet but I plan on doing it on our upcoming Halloween party and taking plenty of pictures and making a collage.

The dvd is currently available where dvds are sold and online at for $ 22.98!  So be sure to grab a copy today !  It would make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.

DreamWorks Spooky Stories is the ultimate Halloween compilation, featuring the spookiest and funniest characters from DreamWorks Animation’s successful Shrek and Monsters vs. Aliens franchises. Join Shrek, Donkey, Puss and B.O.B. as they get the fright of their lives in six fun shorts, including two brand NEW titles: Shrek: The Pig Who Cried Wolf and Monsters vs. Aliens: Night of the Living Carrots.

DreamWorks Spooky Stories also includes optional pop-ups on Night of the Living Carrots and the World of DreamWorks Animation featuring previews, music videos and more.

I love Shrek and so does the rest of my family.  My favorite is Puss N Boots of course.  So the other night when it was Family Movie Night I knew which movie to put on.  Now the great thing about the Spooky Stories is that it is not just Shrek stories, but it also has Monsters vs. Aliens characters' stories.  I really love the Night of the Living Carrots!  It is absolutely hilarious and had my whole family laughing outloud.

My other favorite had to be The Pig Who Cried Wolf.  This one is just as funny as the others and made me want to watch it again.  This movie would be great to show at a Halloween party or on Halloween night.  It is sure to delight all ages - young and old!

The dvd is currently avaialble where dvds are sold and online at for $ 18.86.  So be sure to grab this one before Halloween and have a Spooky Family Night!

My youngest daughter loves Dinosaur Train especially their episode " Dinosaurs A to Z".  She loves the song they sing and is constantly singing it.  SO imagine the squeal she let out when she saw the dvd featuring her fav episode.  Here is the "Dinosaur A to Z" song...

It is a catchy song I have to admit!  I even find myself singing along to it along with the theme song too.  Of course the really great thing about the show is teaching kids all about dinosaurs and also the wonderful messages from the show.  Dinosaur Train is like all the shows on PBS for kids meaning they are great programs for the kids.  I love programs that you know will be safe for your kiddos to watch just like Dinosaur Train.
Since we have recieved the dvd, my daughters have watched it several times and still have not gotten tired of it.  Now this dvd would make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer for any dinosaur fan. Now my daughters can get a little frustrated at times with some of the challenges but other than that they love the game as much as my son does.  Another great thing about the game is that everytime is different which is a huge plus in my book.  Also it is a game that is fun for all ages and one where the kids can beat the parents and vice versa.

Now my daughters have never really watched the Jake & the Neverland Pirates before so I was interested to see if they would enjoy the show.  I was afraid that maybe my oldest daughter would think it was too geared towards boys since it is about pirates.  BOY was I wrong!  My two daughters loved this dvd and were so excited to watch and even watched it more than once.

Now since they had never seen it, I had never seen it either.  I have to say it was exactly how I expect a Disney show to be - full of great messages for kids.  I enjoyed the messages it brings to my daughters.  My daughters picked right up on them and they really loved the songs in the episodes.

I recommend this dvd for any Jake fans for sure but also for any kids who enjoy songs and fun entertainment.  This dvd would make a great Holiday gift for that little pirate lover on your list.  The dvd is available today where dvds are sold and online at for $ 14.85.  So grab a copy today!

Now I have to say I love Sherlock Holmes so of course I love the Great Mouse Detective.  He is like a mouse Sherlock.  Now as I said my son loves the movie, but the really great thing is so do my daughters.  Trust me it can be hard to find a movie that both my son and daughters both enjoy alot.  The girls love the singing and how scattered the mouse detective can be.

Halloween is right around the corner which usually means CANDY!  Now alot of parents who are like me, we screen our kids candy intake.  I limit how much candy my kiddos get to eat mainly because I know candy is not the best thing for them to eat a huge amount of.  If only there was a "healthy" candy for my kids.  It would be the best of both worlds!  Oh wait...there is - Unreal Candy.

WHAT IS UNREAL CANDY ? You may be asking.  Well, read on to find out...

UnrealTM started with a question from a kid: "WHY DOES THE JUNK FOOD WE LOVE HAVE TO BE SO BAD FOR US?"

    What makes UNREAL™ products unique?

Our candies contain no artificial flavors, preservatives or hormones; no GMO’s (genetically modified organisms); no hydrogenated oils; and no corn syrup. Instead, we use real sugar, natural oils, and real milk. Also, you don’t need to travel to a fancy health food store or pay a premium to buy our candy, it’s only available where junk food is available.

Recently I had the pleasure of sharing Unreal Candy with my family.  I really wanted my family to compare the Unreal Candy to the leading brands so I also had them on hand too and put them in the gift bags with the Unreal Candy ( I even dressed up the bags (shown below)  for a Halloween theme since our party was Halloween themed with costumes and such).

Now Unreal Candy was a huge hit.  My parents commented on the real chocolate taste.  They were surprised at how strong it was considering it was healthier.  The kids though loved the chocolate taste and could not get enough.  All the parents were happy that the candy was healthier and the kids liked it so much.

I tried a sample of each candy and I have to tell you they are good.  Plus as a woman who tries to eat sensible and watch her weight, this is a great alternative to the leading brands.  It allows me to have a treat but is healthier than my normal fav - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  Just check out these stats!

I was amazed at the difference especially in sugar since it still tasted like candy!  SO after all my family tried it, I took a vote and while there were some who still liked the original brands best.  Everyone did agree though that the candy did taste good and they liked it.  So some of my family agreed they would be "Unjunking" this Halloween and I plan to give out Unreal Candy this Halloween.  I mean as a mom I think I have to help other moms by giving out healthier candy!!

SO this Halloween why not "Unjunk" the candy you give out to the kiddos!  The candy is available in select stores and you can go here to find which stores carry them.  Also another great thing about the candy besides the healthy factor is that it is the same price as the regular leading brands.  Now you have no excuse to choose healthier!  SO get UNJUNKED today!!!!!

    * I received compenstaion and the above mentioned products solely for review purposes.  The above mentioned opinoins are completely my own and completely honest.

Tricks and treats are at every turn, from ancient Egypt to Transylvania, from creepy houses to haunted forests, the hair-raising hilarity is non-stop! Our favorite cat and mouse mingle with ghosts, mummies, werewolves and witches in these terrific tales. Of course Tom and Jerry have a bounty of tricks up their own sleeves as well! Fear not, the chase is on! It's a scare-iffic good time for the whole family!

My family loves Tom & Jerry!  It is a great cartoon to share with the whole family.  My daughters especially love Tom & Jerry and have watched the dvd more than once.  They also have debates about who actually is the "good guy" - Tom or Jerry.  It is really cute.

This dvd has hours of entertainment and tons of laugh opportunities.  Also it is perfect for Halloween parties with kids to entertain them.  My two daughters really loved the episode with the two witches and it is really funny.  It also has a surprising twist to it!!

I recommend this movie for every family.  It would make a great family movie night especially for Halloween night or maybe the weekend before.  The dvd is available now where dvds are sold and online at for $ 12.99.  SO be sure to grab a copy today for a Spooky Good Time!

Now Bones is one of my favorite shows of all time!  I always look forward to each season of the show and am excited for Season 8 to start!  Of course one of the best things about Bones is the interns.  Below you will find some helpful advice for every intern!!!
Bones: The Complete Seventh Season out on DVD & Blu-ray on October 9th

    Description: Company:pr:PR_Share:CLIENTS:20th Century Fox US:Bones Season 7:Assets:BonesS7_BD_3D_Skew.jpg

    Squint 101: Internship Advice

In Bones, Booth coined the term Squints for Brennan’s interns because they’re the ones who have to look at evidence really closely at a crime scene. In this feature, we will offer internship advice, using examples from Squints featured on the show, on how to knock the socks off your supervisors and be an ass-kicking intern.

    Always Take Notes

Intern Vincent Nigel Murray is one of the lucky one when he was born with a retentive memory, enabling him to memorize trivia and important facts and notes, without having to write anything down. However, most people aren’t born with such gift so during your internship, always take a notepad with you and take notes whenever your supervisor tells you any information or whenever you participate in any meetings. It’s always good to have something to refer back to instead of pestering your superiors with questions they’ve already addressed.

Work Hard and Reap the Benefits

Wendell Bray is like most interns – he comes from a modest family and he received help to pay for his college education. Throughout his internship with the Jeffersonian, Bray worked hard and juggled schooling and other extracurricular activities, including participating in a hockey team. When Bray’s scholarship was pulled due to lack of funding, the Jeffersonian team made sure he was able to stay in school and keep his internship, proving that hard work and pleasing your employers pay off in the end.

    Stay Out of Office Drama

Clark Edison is a Jeffersonian’s intern who’s strictly all about the job at hand. He finds interpersonal drama overwhelming and believes it’s a roadblock on performing well on the job. So beware of all the water-cooler gossips you overhear – stay focus on the task and leave office drama to others.

    Don’t Rush Through Your Work

Description: aisy in 'The Skull in the Sculpture' - daisy-wick Screencap

Daisy Wick is Jeffersonian’s least successful intern due to her clumsiness and her habit of blurting outwhatever she’s thinking. Dr. Brennan finds her irritating, especially after she shattered a skull, and has thus fired her twice. Unlike Wick, interns should exercise caution on their work and pay attention to details; don’t do a haphazard job only so you can be the first one done.

    Share Your Talent & Background

When it comes to internships, you want to leave an impression on your supervisors, albeit a positive one of course, as they are capable of someday offering you a job. Don’t follow into intern Arastoo Vaziri’s footsteps in hiding your talent and past experience because you never know when it may actually help you out and push you ahead of the competition.

In How I Met Your Mother’s seventh season, first time parents, Lily and Marshall have to adjust to the rigors of parenthood and find out, like many before, just how hard it is. So fresh from family naptime, here are the topfive Eriksen family tips for first-time moms and dads.

    • GET HELP. You’ll probably hear family and friends say things like “if you need help…” and “anytime you need a sitter…” Take them up on it! Also, it’s healthy to socialize. Do not feel guilty for it.

    • THEY DO SLEEP. But they usually mix up nights and days during the first several weeks. What’s more, most babies do not sleep through the night until they are about four months old. Remember that too much sleep during the day will keep nighttime visitor Mr. Sandman away. And sleep when the baby sleeps!

    • PLAN AHEAD. Meal time, bath time, bedtime, play time, naptime… You’ll be doing yourself a huge service by trying to plan ahead and making sure you have everything you need from the start of whatever the activity is.

    • BEWARE OF OVERSTIMULATION. Mommy, daddy, grandparents and friends may have gone a little overboard, buying baby presents so be cautious about giving too much to the baby too soon. Over stimulated babies don’t sleep and overtired babies cry. A lot.

    • DON’T FREAK OUT. You’re going to make mistakes but that’s never going to change so the best thing you can do for yourselves and your baby is accept this and keep going.

Later in November I will be starting my 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Guide.  I had so much fun last year with my Holiday Gift Guide that I knew I had to bring it back for another year.  I am currently working on getting some really sweet products for review and also some for giveaways!

Now I would love your help.  If you are a company with a product then I would love an email about working together to help promote your product in time for the holidays.  I would be interested in a review, giveaway, or review and giveaway.  SO simply shoot me a quick email with all the details.

Also to all my readers, if you have seen a product that you think is going to be a hot Holiday item then let me know.  Hopefully I can include it in my Gift Guide and also host a giveaway with it.  Just leave me a comment with the product and information.

I hope you all are as excited as I am for another Holiday Gift Guide!!!!

In the epic action-adventure Snow White & the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscarr winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White's beauty and power. The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.

Now first let me say that the story of Snow White has never really been one of my favorite fairy tales.  With that said, I liked this version of it.  I really liked the special effects in this movie especially the ones featuring Ravenna (the evil queen).  I  also enjoyed the "dwarves" and the forest scenes which were simply beautiful.  Of course I was hoping for a little more passion from Snow White and the Huntsman, which I think lacked a lot of chemistry.  So this movie is not really a romance but is definitely action.

But the acting from Charlize as the evil queen steals the whole movie by far.  She really makes her dark which is really what you want in an evil queen after all isn't it!!!  SO if you are like me and never really cared for the story of Snow White, give this version a try.  It might surprise you like it did me!

The dvd is available now where dvds are sold and also available online at for $ 19.96.  I recommend this movie if you like actions.  It could be a date movie since it combines action and fairy tales!  So be sure to grab a copy today!
