MY THOUGHTS

Now this is the final product in my week long of Royal Fun from Imperial Toys and I saved my kids' favorite for last.  The Glow Fusion Bubbles was the biggest hit with my kids.  We had a glow in the dark bubble tag game then the kids played hide and seek. 

The bubbles can be a little messy or a lot if you play like my kids did.  I recommend you wear "play colthes" when using them.  Now my kids' clothes did come clean where they got the glow-in-the-dark bubbles on them but I would still be safe and wear play clothes. 

Creating the glow bubbles could not be any easier.  You simply miss 2 different activators into the bubble solution and Voila!  Glow in the dark bubbles!  Just be sure you mix it completely.  Then get ready to have tons of fun!

Now as I said my kids played tag with them so them and our yard were glowing.  I wish I had been able to take pictures but I was afraid of getting my camera wet and damaged.  Even our dogs were glowing!  Then after they were out of bubbles, they played hide and seek.  This was hilarious since they were all aglow.

A LONG HECTIC WEEK IS OVER

Recently I am sure you have noticed last week that I did not post much.  Well, that is because my sister and brother-in-law recently took a week long vacation and I watched all 3 of their children. Now first let me applaud all moms who have 5 or more children every single day and handle it with grace on their own. 

I have had my hands full and it was never ending around my house.  I am now currently trying to catch up on my blog posts and also getting all my household chore caught up.  So with all the excitement around my house, I have not been on my computer every day.  I am sure you may have noticed that there were no posts for Days 4-7 of my Royal Fun Week with Imperial Toys.  Well, I had set them up in advance and did not realize that they had not posted on the correct days so I will be posting them manually today so be sure to check them out.  I am not sure what went wrong but I am back in gear and will have it all fixed asap.

As you know I have already shared 2 different great products from Imperial Toys this week and now I have a fantastic toy from them just for the "little princess" in your life.  It is the Disney Princess Enchanted Bubble Tea Party!

This tea set is absolutely adorable and is perfect for every little girl especially those who love the Disney Princesses.  My 2 daughters loved this toy the best and it has provided them with tons of hours of imaginative playtime.  It comes with enough for " two place settings".  The teapot holds the bubble solution that you can pour into the cups which are actually the "bubble wands" .  SO are the spoons that come with the set.  The plates that come with it are deep enough to hold plenty of solution for a fun tea party.

I always love it when I find games that my whole family can play.  This game is one of those games that is simple enough for my youngest but is still fun for my oldest. The concept is easy... you just build the building on the card displayed and be the first to grab one of the blocks showing you finished. There are natural colored wood blocks that you place in the center and everyone gets one when they are done except the last person. 

I love the fact that it is a fun game with simple rules.  My daughters love the game and can even play it by themselves.  ( This is great for when I am busy cooking dinner or cleaning !)  Also I let the girls design their own buildings on paper and use them as part of the game.  They enjoy this and helps get their creative juices flowing.

DAY 2 OF IMPERIAL TOYS ' ROYAL FUN WEEK BRINGS the TURTLE TOPPLE SPRINKLER review

So on the first day of Royal Fun Week, I told you about a bubble toy from Little Tikes and today I am telling you about a waterplay toy from them - Turtle Topple Sprinkler.

Also setup is easy of course, you just screw it onto your water hose the turn on the water!  The water shoots out of all 3 turtles causing them to move around a little.  Now my youngest use to hate sprinklers when she was little if they put out tons of water and sprayed everywhere.  I have to say this sprinkler seems to give just the right amount of water and motion for even the younger kiddos who could be scared at first.

My youngest daughter loves to try to take pictures especially with her play princess phone.  When I received the Little Tikes Bubble Camera, I knew she would be super excited!  I showed her the camera and she immediately snatched it up.  I filled it for bubbles for her and sent her outside on one of our many sunny days here lately in the South. 

She preceded to "take" pictures of the puppies in our backyard.  Imagne their surprise when bubbles started coming out at them.  Needless to say they chased her bubbles while she took their pictures. 

Now the camera comes with 3-D bubbles and when you look through the window of the camera, it creates a 3- D effect.  My daughter said they sparkled more when looking through it.  ( She mainly just clicked the camera mostly like a fashion photographer lol!)

MY THOUGHTS

 I grew up loving Dum Dum Pops and still do.  SO do my three children.  I was excited to hear that they were bringing Fruit Punch back.  My children had never tried it but I knew they would be hooked the moment they tried it.  As soon as we got our tub of Fruit Punch ones,  I immediately handed each one of my kids one.

The verdict was in... They loved them!  We recently shared them with the guests at my son's birthday party and they were a big hit as well. It is nice to see a great candy still be enjoyed today by young and old.  Now I use the lollipops as rewards for doing good or helping out around the house.

As most of you know, I am a huge fan of board games and Family Game Night.  Yesterday my family and I decided to have a Family Game Night on Mother's Day as part of my gift.  I had recently received a new game from Ravensburger to review called Whoowasit? .

MY THOUGHTS

 

When I first saw this game, I was immediately intrigued by it and just knew my family would love to play it.  I was right, my family loved this game.  It is fun for all ages even my youngest loved playing it.  Since it is only for 4 players, I helped her.

 

My favorite thing about the game is that you are working together as a team to find the thief.  It is a good thing you get to work together as a team since the game is timed ( which is great fro some families who only have a limited amount of time for game night).  It was so nice to see my whole family rushing to solve the mystery.   Unfortunately for us we figured out who the thief was but ran out of time before we could officially solve it by opening their chest.

 

Another great feature of the game is that it is different everytime thanks to the chest which is amazing.  It remembers what has been found and done.  I loved this feature of the game and so did my kids.  The animals give you hints of who is the thief and the chest remembers the clues and can tell you how suspects are left after each clue.  That helps take out the guesswork about how many suspects to remove and such.

 

Besides the chest, my kids' other favorite part of the game would be the GHOST!  He makes the game a little trickier to complete since he cna send you back to start and also makes it impossible for you to enter certain rooms.  My oldest daughter seemed to roll him a lot, sending us all back to start quite a bit.  My kids just loved this and would bust out laughing.  They even made spooky sound effects like the chest did when they had to move the ghost. 

 

This game is a lot of fun for the whole family and also makes the family work together which is great for every family.  I recommend this game for every family!  It is sure to create tons of memories filled with laughter and family fun.

Harold and Maude

1979’s Harold and Maude is the story of Harold Chasen (Bud Cort), a young man obsessed with death. At a funeral, Harold meets Maude (Ruth Gordon), a 79-year-old woman who shares Harold's hobby of attending strangers’ funerals. The pair forms an unlikely bond, and Maude slowly shows Harold the pleasures of the arts, and teaches him how to enjoy and appreciate life.

Field of Dreams

 In the 1989 film Field of Dreams, corn farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) hears a voice in his field telling him, "If you build it, he will come." He takes this as an instruction to build a baseball field on his farm, upon which appear the ghosts of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the other Chicago Black Sox players banned from the game. When the voices continue, Ray seeks out a reclusive author to help him understand the meaning of the messages and the purpose for his field. On the field, Ray ends up being reunited with his own father who had passed away, and plays a long-delayed game of catch.

Dead Poets Society

Dead Poets Society was released in 1989 and is often included on lists of the most inspirational films. In it, John Keating (Robin Williams) is a radical new English teacher at the uptight Welton Academy Prep School in 1959 Vermont. Through his unorthodox teaching methods, like standing on desks and tearing pages out of books, Keating is able to help his students discover and explore their true passions in life, like writing and acting, instead of succumbing to the lives their parents have dictated for them.

Erin Brockovich

 In the 2000 film Erin Brockovich, Julia Roberts portrays the real life hero of the same name. Not only is Erin a single mother to three children (which is a feat in and of itself), but she also discovers and investigates a massive cover up of industrial poisoning by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and crusades for justice for those who were affected. Brockovich ultimately aids in winning those affected a $333 million settlement.
