With my family's hectic schedule and my fiancee's busy days, trying to plan a Father's Day celebration can be a bit tricky.  So yes, I did have to plan a special thing for him after Father's Day since 2 of my kids were with their dads.  Well, I decided that we could have a special day for him regardless of the date.  I mean after all why should it matter what day it is.  To help celebrate the day we gave him TOOLS.  I mean in my fiancee's case, you can NEVER go wrong with tools especially high-quality ones like Channellock.  I was lucky enough to get to review the GS-3T Gift Set featuring

Now you can just imagine how excited my fiancee was when he received these pliers.  Funny thing was he actually needed them for an upcoming project and I had no idea.  Now that is lucky.  Also he needed another tape measure to put in his truck for work and luckily enough this set also comes with a free tape measure.  I really could not have planned it any better.  The set has already came in handy around the house while he has been working on our boat and other " honey do" jobs.

Channellock tools are extremely well crafted and are the perfect gift for the serious tool man like my fiancee.  You can purchase them at hardware stores and also online at Channellock for $ 48.96.  They are definitely worth the price since you could buy cheaper sets but in my experience you get what you pay for.  The cheaper tools we have bought have had to be replaced sooner than expected.  My dad owns Channellock tools and has had them for years and they have not been replaced yet to speak so I am sure my fiancee will get years and years of use out of these as well.
