As a mom of 3 kids, back to school time can be stressful and relaxing at the same time. It is stressful to have to get it all together in time and have to worry about your kids and all. The relaxing part is that little bit of time to be able to get things done around the house or "me" time if you are a stay at home mom. I have one more year til my son starts middle school and I become an even bigger wreck. Then I get to worry about lockers and peer pressure more and oh no girls! Lucky for me the locker part is taken care of with Master Lock.
Now if only they could make a lock to keep away the opposite sex from my kids. LOL
Also Master Lock has recently hired some help for parents and kids. They have hired a specialist on student life to help parents and kids with those hard questions. Parents and kids can submit questions to be answered by the specialist here. The specialist and his little sister are answering the questions via humorous videos and also parents can enter daily sweepstakes for Back 2 School prizes. You can learn more about the videos and latest Master Lock products here. Also here is one of the videos from the series to give you an idea...
That video just cracked me up and do not worry there are more of them. Now for my best advice to parents for the upcoming school year is simply "Stay informed of your kids and their activities." I hear from alot of teachers that parents tend to drift away as kids get older and that definitely does not need to happen so parents be sure to stay in their business. They may get annoyed but they need you too. And for kids enjoy school and remember the values your parents have given you. Also remember you are perfect just they way you are and bullying is not funny or nice.
So parents hurry and ask your hardest questions to the specialist and enter the sweepstakes which ends in September.
* I am possibly going to win a Master Lock prize pack from Mom Bloggers Club for writing this post but the pinion is completely my own and completely honest.
I thought the video was cute too! Just remember the locks only work if you use them. My son forgot ONE day and his bike was stolen with the lock draped over the bike. Thank Goodness we recovered it later at an area restaurant. Hmm...a lot to keep the opposite sex away comment. yeah. I know this. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you found it. It still baffles me how quickly something can get stolen no matter where you live at.
