Welch's grape juice review and giveaway

Welch's grape juice has been a long time favorite of mine and my family.  My daughters prefer the white grape while I love the regular grape juice.  I have recently been trying to eat better and Welch's definitely helps me with that.  Welch's grape juice is a product I can be proud of having with my meals and snacks since it is very good for me.  

Now welch's has a variety of products including their wonderful 100% grape juice, white grape juice, and red grape juice that come in several sizes.  They also have jellies and fruit snacks and soda.  I didn't realize the amount of products they have on the market currently.  Also there are tons of ways to incorporate the grape juice into different recipes.  I was amazed at the possibilities.  You can search through tons of recipes here including the one below for barbecued spareribs with red grape juice glaze - perfect for some summertime grilling.

Ingredients

• 4-5 lbs. Spareribs
• 1- 6 oz. can frozen lemonade, thawed
• 1 T salt and undiluted
• 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
• 1/4 tsp. cardamom
• 1 cup Welch’s Red Grape Juice
• 1/4 tsp. curry powder

Preparation

1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over spareribs. Combine red grape juice, concentrated lemonade, cardamom and curry powder in a bowl and stir until well blended. Barbecue spareribs slowly, turning frequently and basting with sauce.

Does that not just sound delicious?  It is definitely on my list of things to try this summer.

now another great thing bout Welch's is their Harvest Grant.  Ask anyone who knows me how important I think school is and they will tell you I think it extremely important and I take my kids' very seriously.  Recently my son lost his school in the tornadoes that hit our community so I appreciate any company that helps make schools better for any reason.  The Harvest Grant is a grant that allows schools to have the supplies to create an indoor or outdoor garden.  i think it is very important for kids to work in a garden.  It helps tehm learn so much and it teaches responsibility.  Welch's is partnered with Scholastic in this project.  If you would like to learn more or maybe sign your school up for the next grant, you can go here to learn more.  Also while you are there check out the current winners who deserve a pat on the back since there was over 7,000 entries.
