ABOUT THE BOOK

It starts with a grumbling tummy.
And a dream of something yummy.
What is it time for?
Pancakes!
Tyler and his dog, Tofu, are hungry for blueberry pancakes.
They are so good to eat—all fluffy and juicy and hot. But the real fun is making them.
First you need a chicken, a cow, a few blueberry bushes, some special trees, and lots of mixing, flipping, and topping.
Chickens? Trees? We’re still talking pancakes, right?
Yes we are, and Tyler and Tofu find out just how it’s done, all before sitting down for the best breakfast ever!
Do you think pancakes come from a box? Not really! So let Food Network star Tyler Florence and Craig Frazier take you on an adventure from farm to mouth. You’ll learn how we get the best ingredients and discover that the most important one of all comes from the heart.

MY THOUGHTS

I love pancakes!  I mean most of us do.  All 3 of my children love them so it was really excited when I received this book.  I mean it shows kids start to finish on making pancakes with a cute story and adorable illustrations.

My daughters loved Tofu, Tyler's dog and they giggled at the pictures and story.  Of course after we read the book, they both agreed on liking it and one other thing - THEY WANTED TO MAKE PANCAKES!

I think this book makes a great family read especially for a relaxing weekend day.  I mean read it right before you cook breakfast or lunch or even dinner then fix pancakes!  It also a perfect book for children who are interested in helping in the kitchen and cooking.  The book is sure to spark the interest even more.

The book is available now where books are sold and online at Amazon.com for $ 13.70.  Be sure to grab a copy of this book for the budding cook or kitchen helper in your family.  Also if you want to preview it before buying , check your local library and see if they have a copy you can check out.  This book is a keeper though so be ready to buy your own!

* I received the above mentioned product solely for review purposes.  The above mentioned opinion is completely honest and completely my own.

  1. I am always looking for new books to read for the kids. Now before Kindergarten is starting my son has already homework - he has to write a list of all the books that is being read to him during the summer, so I am scrambling for great books. This will be one on his list.
