RADIO REBEL dvd review
Tara Adams (Debby Ryan: Jessie, The Suite Life on Deck) is just an ordinary high school junior... except for one little thing. Tara’s got a secret—a secret identity, in fact; she’s Radio Rebel, the most popular radio DJ in Seattle. In person, Tara is as shy as they come, but on the air, Radio Rebel is the smoothest talker around—a skill she needs more than ever right now, since her school is in the midst of a clique-crisis. Radio Rebel gives voice to all kids, popular and unpopular alike, and questions the status quo, to the chagrin of her school's administration. Now, with the principal hot on the trail of Radio Rebel’s true identity, and mean girl Stacy coming between her and cute boy Gavin, Tara must decide between keeping her identity a secret, or being true to herself… and risk losing everything.
MY THOUGHTS
My kids love the movies on the Disney Channel and Radio Rebel was no different. My youngest daughter can definitely relate to the being shy like Tara in the movie. Well, so can my oldest at times too. They loved how she had a secret identity. It reminded them of Hannah Montana which my daughters still love to watch on occassion.
I even enjoyed the movie as well, but I usually enjoy Disney movies. I also can relate to the main character as well cause I have always been shy too. I would have loved to be a DJ when I was in high school ( in fact I have always wanted to be a DJ). The great thing about the movie to me is the fact that the whole family can enjoy it . My family watched it for our Family Movie Night and we all loved it.
Now the movie is predictable for the most part but it still makes for a fun movie with a great message. This movie makes a great addition to any family's movie collection. The movie is available now where dvds are sold and online at Amazon.com for $ 19.95. So be sure to grab a movie for the whole famly today and pick up a copy of Radio Rebel.
