MY THOUGHTS

 

Rise of the Guardians is a movie that my kids have been anxiously awaiting to come to dvd.  I have to admit so have I.  Of course once they saw the video game featuring the lead characters they immediately wanted to play it while they waited for the movie to come to dvd.

 

Now I am always looking for games that all 3 of my kiddos can play together.  The great thing about this game is that up to 4 players can play together.  Another feature is that the players can drop in and out of the game as they choose which is great for my kids when at times they get tired of playing a game.  Also you get to choose which character you get to play from Jack Frost to the "Easter Bunny" ( my fav character). 

 

Now there is fighting in this game so be hesistant if you do not like those kind of games for the kiddos.  Of course with that said, it is not a blood and gore kind of fighting game.  Also it can be a little challenging at times for younger kids, but luckily for my daughters they have an older brother who will gladly help them LOL! 

 

All in all I think the game will be great for those who are anxiously awaiting the movie to arrive on dvd since the game is similar to the movie but not completely like it.  So be sure to grab a copy of the game in your favorite format in time for the Holidays since it is sure to be a hot seller.  The Wii version of the game is available online at Amazon.com for $ 32.19 right now.  Unfortunately according to Amazon the game will not get here before Christmas but you can definitely find the game at local stores near you.  So be sure to grab a copy today for the gamer on your list!
