THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN dvd review

Disney brings enchantment home with The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, an inspiring, magical story for the whole family starring Jennifer Garner. Cindy (Garner) and Jim Green are a happily married couple who can't wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim - and their small town of Stanleyville - learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life's greatest gifts. From Academy Awardr-nominated director/writer Peter Hedges (About A Boy, Best Adapted Screenplay, 2002; Dan In Real Life; What's Eating Gilbert Grape?), it's a heartwarming celebration of family as only Disney can deliver.

MY THOUGHTS

Since I first heard about this movie, I was immediately interested in seeing it.  I mean the storyline is very intriguing - a couple struggling to have their own child plant a box with all the things they want in a child in it and then suddenly a child appears from their garden!  I mean how could you not be intrigued!

I have to say the movie was really heartwarming and is perfect for the Holiday season.  Of course be sure to bring some tissues cause if you are like me then you will be crying or at least tearing up.  The movie also has a really great message in it - Enjoy the simple things which are after the important things like love and family!  And at this time of the year, we could all use some reminding of this so take time and grab a copy of the movie and ENJOY!

The dvd and/or blu-ray is available now where dvds are sold and at online retailers like Amazon.com for $ 13.99 for the dvd.  So grab this dvd and some popcorn and curl up and ENJOY!
