"MY LITTLE PONY, MY LITTLE PONY"

I can remember being a little girl playing with My Little Pony so to say that I was happy my girls fell in love with My Little Pony as well is an understatement.  Luckily for them a new era of My Little Pony has been brought to them on the HUB channel called My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.  You can catch full episodes of the new show on the HUB Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 AM EST and Friday and Monday at 1:30 PM EST.  You can also catch them online and on iTunes. Below is the first episode of the new series.

Also Hasbro has started making a My Little Pony line of toys based on the new show.  My daughters were lucky enough to review a few of those toys including the Twilight Sparkle's Twinkling Balloon set (which is featured in the opening of every episode) and the My Little Pony Applejack and Rarity play figurines.

Now the Twilight Sparkls's Twinkling Balloon is really cute and my daughters loved it.  It is made to be like a scene out of the show.  My daughters used it to reenact the opening of the show several times.  Now for the really cool thing about it..It lights up and plays music. My daughters love to use it as a night light in the bedroom.  below are pics of it not lit up and lit up.

It creates hours of play.  Now for the My little Pony play figurines.

Each pony figurine comes with a saddle and an animal friend.  Applejack has a puppy and Rarity has a bird.  The puppy and bird fit perfectly in the saddles on the back of the ponies so they can ride with them on their adventures.  My two daughters loved this.  They used the figurines with the Twilight Sparkle's Balloon set and created their own My Little Pony story.

I am so glad that another generation is enjoying My Little Pony.  After all they are classic!
