ROCK N LEARN : GETTING READY FOR KINDERGARTEN DVD review

As a mom I am constantly looking for products r books or dvds or cds that can help my kids educationally.  I am a huge nerd so education is a top priority for me and I want my kids to all be a least a lil nerdy.  So I was super excited when I heard about the ROCK N LEARN cds and dvds that help children learn various educational things with video and music.

 ROCK N LEARN offer a huge assortment of videos and cds from PreSchool to Math to Science and Social Studies.  Basically they have something for every kid and every age.  Now I was lucky enough to be able to choose a dvd or cd to review for my blog.  I searched the website for hours trying to decide if I would get a dvd for my son like the Presidents one or States & Capitals or if I would get the girls something like Alphabet Circus.  I finally decided that since my little girls will be starting school soon that I should get the GETTING READY FOR KINDERGARTEN dvd.

Now I choose this one for several reasons. First it covers a lot not just Kindergarten stuff but also getting dressed adn tying shoes.  It even covers making beds and cleaning rooms which was a big seller for me.  I am  having a huge issue with the girls on cleaning their room.  But it also includes the basic things covered in Kindergarten like letters, numbers, and learning left and right.

Now my girls first loved the cover.  The characters looked inviting to them and they immediately wanted to watch the dvd.  They also loved the dvd and have worn it out.  The great thing about that to me is the fact that  they are learning too.  Now the video is helping with a lot of areas including their rooms.  Now they didn't jump up and go clean it up but they are starting to realize that since they are both fixing to be bigger girls they need to.  So here's hoping by summer they keep the room clean without me nagging.  LOL
