Recently the wonderful folks at Country Bob's were kind enough to send me two full size bottles of their all purpose sauce. Their all purpose sauce truly is in a class all by itself just like their website states. The first time I used it was on chicken (my fav meat). I cut up my chicken and poured bout a third of the bottle on it and baked it in the oven. Now I was wondering how it would turn out since the the first two meats listed on the bottle were steak and hamburgers(although chicken is listed on the bottle too). Also I have used some other all purpose sauces on chicken before and it turn out horrible.
So after twenty minutes or so I pulled out the chicken. First it smelled and looked delicious.
Then came the true test for Country Bob's - my starving family. The result was unanimous! Country Bob's all purpose sauce was wonderful on chicken. I forgot to take a picture of the empty baking dish before I washed it. My youngest daughter can be picky alot but she even cleaned her plate of this chicken. While I was eating my chicken , I realized this would be amazing for meatloaf and I was right when we tried it out. I don't have any pictures of the meatloaf but wish I did. It was even better than the chicken with the same end result no leftovers for the lunch the next day.
Country Bob's main office is located in Illinois and their company has been easy to deal with and a wonderful company to have reviewed for. They have increased their product line to include barbecue sauce, seasoning salt, and a spicy version of the all purpose. I am definitely going to try out the seasoning salt and the barbecue sauce not big on spicy though so I probably won't try it. They have great recipes on their website too for you to try out with their seasoning.
